Each guide covers the specification decisions that actually determine success in that context, the lead times you need to plan around, and where buyers most often choose the wrong format.
Sweat and sunscreen resistance, no-water application for crowd distribution, and the glow-in-the-dark versus fluorescent blacklight distinction that determines whether the effect happens at all.

The guides are organised by buying context rather than by manufacturing process, because the right answer usually depends on conditions our product specifications cannot capture: whether your venue has blacklight rigs, whether your guests will have access to water, whether your date can move, whether you are validating a design or fulfilling a confirmed order.
Two questions determine most selections faster than anything else:
Regardless of format or quantity, the commercial terms are consistent, and this is where the low minimum order quantity matters most:
| Minimum order | 100 pieces for all tattoo formats (500 pieces for custom packaging) |
| Mixed designs | Permitted within the 100-piece minimum |
| Indicative pricing | $0.15-$0.80 standard; $0.20-$0.90 metallic and UV-reactive; $0.20-$1.00 DIY glitter kits; $0.50-$2.00 packaging |
| Volume discount | Up to 40% at 500+ pieces |
| Production | 7-15 business days after artwork approval; rush 5-7 days at 20% surcharge |
| Sampling | $50-$100, refunded on orders over 500 pieces; 3-5 days production plus 2-4 days shipping |
| Design service | Free, unlimited revisions, from a concept or logo |
| Certification | FDA-compliant inks, EN-71, CPSIA, ISO 9001, MSDS available |
| Shipping | DHL / FedEx / UPS 3-7 days; air freight 7-12 days; sea freight 25-35 days; 50+ countries |
| Payment | T/T, PayPal, Western Union, Alibaba Trade Assurance; 30% deposit, 70% before shipment |
Prices are indicative factory-direct figures in USD per piece. Final pricing is confirmed at quotation once artwork coverage, size, ink type and packing are fixed. Certificate scope varies by ink type and destination market - request current documents for your specific product rather than relying on a generic certificate.
The one mistake worth avoiding above all others: approving a bulk run without a physical sample tested in the conditions where the product will actually be used. Glow effects can only be judged in real darkness, UV color change only in real sunlight, and wear duration only on the skin area and activity level your guests will have. Samples cost $50-$100 and are refunded on orders over 500 pieces.
If your order is tied to a season rather than a single event, these are the recommended order deadlines from our production calendar:
| Product line | Peak demand | Order by |
|---|---|---|
| Halloween themed | September - October | July (2-3 months ahead) |
| Christmas themed | November - December | August - September |
| Glow / UV / fluorescent | May - September (festival season) | March - April |
| All other formats | Year-round | Any time (7-15 day lead time) |
Seasonal lines carry a risk that year-round lines do not: a missed delivery is a total loss rather than a delayed sale, because the artwork cannot be sold after the date passes. Build the sample cycle into the timeline rather than treating it as optional.
Describe your project in one message. We will point you to the right format and confirm whether your timeline still allows for sampling.
